| dc.description | This paper analyzes the complexity of representing reality in historical fiction series. It reviews the processes of documentation, selection and adaptation of sources to shape an audiovisual product in which historical imagination is integrated with relevant events from the past. This analysis focuses on the main character of the Spanish program Isabel, where in addition to showing her personal and physical features, the issue of the role of women in the 15th century is addressed. | en-US |
