dc.description	During the Mexican Revolution, the speech about peace was on going in El Republicano, which was the Aguascalientes State official media paper. National information stressing the need to build peace or to have a peace treaty was continuously published. On the local side, the fact that Aguascalientes remained calm and peaceful stood out. The goal of this article is to show and analyze such source of information and the various interpretations of peace that were displayed on it, because from the official speech standpoint the objective was to keep the public order and therefore when there were news about violent events, those were left out or it was said that those occurred outside the local reality. Notes from the press media from 1911 through 1917 were reviewed, meaning the period nation-wide known and linked to Porfirio Díaz resignation, Madero taking over the government and up to the issuance of the 1917 Constitution, which was made public in parts. It is important to analyze the public speech because it was aligned with the ruling group, i.e. Madero, Huerta, Villa or Carranza; and in addition it stressed the value of the law and the defense of the Republic and democracy which is sustained by a Manichaean speech and an appealing history of heroes and villains.	en-US
dc.description	En tiempo de revolución en México, el discurso sobre la paz fue permanente en el periódico local El Republicano, órgano oficial del estado de Aguascalientes. Continuamente, se publicaba información nacional con énfasis en la necesidad de la construcción de la paz o la pacificación del país; desde lo local sobresalía el hecho de un Aguascalientes que se había mantenido en calma y tranquilidad. El objetivo de este artículo es presentar y analizar dicha fuente de información y las diferentes concepciones de paz dentro de su narrativa, porque desde el discurso oficial se buscaba que en la entidad no se alterara el orden público; de esta forma, cuando se informaba sobre acontecimientos violentos, prácticamente quedaban al margen o se presentaban alejados de la realidad local. Se revisaron las notas del medio impreso de 1911 a 1917, es decir, desde el periodo identificado a nivel nacional con la renuncia de Porfirio Díaz y la llegada al poder de Madero, hasta llegar a la Constitución del 17, publicada en partes. Es importante analizar el discurso oficial, porque se alineaba con el grupo en el poder en turno, ya fuera el de Madero, Huerta, Villa o Carranza, además de hacer énfasis en el gran valor de la ley y en todo momento la defensa de la República y la democracia, sostenida sobre un discurso maniqueo y una historia edificante de héroes y villanos.	es-ES
